I can't help but believe the President is listening to Mattis, the Intel agencies and JCS on how to manage N. Korea. We, over decades, have given in to them due to the proximity and threat to our ally S. Korea. What that has resulted in is a developing nuclear nation with a near global delivery system. If power projection holds them in check, I'm for it. My greatest fear is our military response will be retaliatory to a nuclear strike.

I sincerely don't believe Lil Kim will be impressed or dissuaded by the act. He is a man on a mission.
He is sending us the message you might get me but its going to cost you.
Saber rattling is not going to cut it and plays into the idea we are going to attack. Better to talk about the destruction he could do without nukes to play up his ego and get him to lay off. Its not about saying we would lose its helping him save face and getting him to the table. If this turns ugly its going to be very ugly.
