Legislature Wants to Tax Drinking Water for First Time in History - California Political Review

Wow CPT Jack Durish. I expect the California legislature may realize they can tax the after we drink and tax it again through a sewer tax - of course that would justify tin their collective minds an increased fine for public urination :-)
Hopefully they don't levy a prorated tax on every Californian for all the water in the Pacific Ocean out to the five miles away from shore limit>
If they do an Oceans ...movie may be in the offing :-)

For a state that likes to waste money protecting criminals its no surprise that they are looking for a way to make more money. I have little doubt they would tax air consumption if they could figure out how. Cali is going full socialist system, as is most of the west coast at this point.

Way to go CA. Lets see, they want to secede and life will be better for them. 3yrs businesses that leave the state will double.
