Try doing this job in today's environment. Listen to what she says and then you will understand why he said that. It is multiple times daily in the area he works that people refuse to comply with simple commands. Everyone one wants to use race as a wall to hide behind in order to obstruct the process. Social media and supposedly news outlets have created this monster that cops shoot every body. This girl stated she refused to get her phone because cops shoot black people. All he did was used her statement to try amd ease her mind. She wasnt black. I know him, i know him well and he is not a racist man. I also have worked under him and will say that if hand pick him to lead me into a gun battle any day over most that work within the agency. Don't get me wrong, out of context, it sounds horrible. He is human and when you are berated daily and multiple times daily, you fall from.grace a little. No matter who you are! Police are not immune to mistakes as we are human too. This incident is not the culmination of who this man is. It is not who law enforcement is as society would have you to believe.

No, he will stand in judgement alone for his actions. He is a grown man that needs no one to "Take up for him."

When was the the last time you went in the projects or the poor side of town and actually provided assistance to help prevent black on black crime, prevent the bullying of young black males to join gangs instead of obtain "The white man's education" or a black man is not black enough because he is educated or a police officer. I did not say he had a good reason. I said you can understand why he may have. I never said I would have done it his way.
