He left a long time ago. Not sure why he felt he was a Republican for at least the last 6-8 years.

Are you familiar with the origins of the Neo-Conservatives? Originally, democrats but migrated to the Republican Party. Switched back to Democrat leanings during the 2016 election backing Hillary Clinton.

Joxua Luxor - I am familiar with the term. I am not sure they were originally democrats but more moderate and globalist type Republicans. Some may have been democrats. They typically view our role in the world as the global cop to intervene here or there to do this or that and think we should be more interventionist and solve the world's problems through the use of diplomacy and force (Think Libya).

As a Florida panhandle resident, he was my representative and he was loved. When he quit as a congressman to chase the money at MSNBC, a lot of folks on the panhandle were really pissed! I actually watched "Morning Joe" for a little while in the late 2000's and enjoyed how he was playing in the middle.
I don't know if it was the sex with that pasty blonde or what, be he left the center and moved so far left that ANTIFA looks at his and says "Damn, that dude is nuts"!
Joe, you became an embarrassment to the Republican Party years ago. Go be an embarrassment to your new friends, Pelosi and Schumer!

I have a lot of the same reservations about Senator John McCain. I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and I thank him for his military service but I despise him as a politician. Furthermore, I was very fond of Joe Arpaio. I have been physically attacked on several occasions by Mexican drug gangs. I even had a hit put out on me by 2 factions of United Latinos when I lived in Washington State.
