That was in poor taste. Her husband is a public servant, but she acts like royalty.

Seems nit-picky. Should she have worn a t-shirt and jeans? Now, she didn't have to brag about what clothing she wore, but aren't Hollywood types always trying to push the makers of their clothing?

MAJ James Woods - agreed, but it seems that those that want to bitch are going to find the smallest things. And in the media environment w/ this administration, every little thing is blown cosmically out of proportion.

SSgt (Join to see) - And how's that different from Obama, Bush, Clinton, H.W. Bush, Reagan, etc. In the same way we condemn general officers for using taxpayer paid resources to fund personal ventures for family members, we should do the same to senior civilian government officials. His wife comments on a photo getting off of a government plane saying she got a lot of shopping done on her trip...yeah that's open to criticism. Government and military are discouraged from taking family members on business trips because that's not what taxpayer money is for.

Capt Dwayne Conyers - truth. She would've been better off just letting it go w/ no response. The political or public service world is not the hollywood world that she is used to, where it is commonplace to broadcast who you're wearing as a mode of advertisement for them.
