Yes the US has nukes as a deterrent. We only threatens its use in retaliation to other that wish us destroyed. We do not use the threat of nukes to harass or offensively threaten other nations.

Actually not true. PFC White was the last defector in 1982, but died a few years later in the NK. They said he drowned and body was unrecoverable. Drowned in the middle of winter in a lake.... hehe
