I think it's important to read these articles, because someone is working very hard to promote Civil War in America. It's coming from all sides now and very rapidly. The intelligence services like CIA and the media are deeply involved. I am an old cold warrior and spent many a night in front of a radar screen watching for the eminent soviet-era offensive Into the Heart of Europe. Thank God it never happened for the world would have ended for us.

But now I really fear for my country, I am more terrified now than I was in 1983. Who wants us to kill each other? And what do they hope to gain?

I'm right there with you. They can't argue the facts, so they prey on fears and prejudices. It really is a truly frustrating time.

SGT Edward Wilcox - That's a page from the progressive left. Divisiveness and violence. I saw it all in 1967-68 when the heart was burned out of many Northern American cities. It took over a generation to heal those wounds.

WOW. What an impressive rant filled with lies, hyperbole, and fear mongering. "The Left is coming to rape your daughter". What, exactly, is the religion of the Left? Why is is only the Right knows what it is? Or do they? This piece discredits itself right away with it's over the top rhetoric and outright lies. Only someone who is truly brainwashed by the Right would believe a word of it.

SSG Diane R. - No, it doesn't. But I would really like to hear what you consider a "good point".

"So what’s next?

Truly, I don’t know. But my overwhelming sense is that Trump will be removed from office, either for “high crimes and misdemeanors” or for “medical reasons” (they will simply declare him insane and unfit to be the President). Seeing how weak and spineless Trump is, he might even be “convinced” to resign. I don’t see them simply murdering him simply because he is no Kennedy either. After that, Pence comes to power and it will all be presented like a wonderful event, a group-hug of the elites followed by an immediate and merciless crackdown on any form of political opposition or dissent which will immediately be labeled as racist, homophobic, anti-Semitic, terrorist, etc. The evil hand of the “Russian KGB” (yes, I know, the KGB was dissolved in 1991) will be found everywhere, especially amongst US libertarians (who will probably the only ones with enough brains to understand what is taking place). The (pseudo-) “Left” will rejoice. Should this course of action result in an unexpected level or resistance, either regional or social, a 9-11 false flag followed by a war will the most likely scenario (why stray away from something which worked so well the first time around?!)."

Seriously? With Pence, a right-wing religious nut in office and a Republican majority in Congress, you think there will be crackdown on racist and homophobic rhetoric? Are you really that delusional? If anything, it will go the other way, with the outlawing of anything seen as anti-conservative. White supremacy and homophobic rhetoric will go through the roof. We will see a new 'dark ages', with a stark curtailing of civil rights. Sorry, sister, but you got this one completely backwards.

SGT Edward Wilcox - The Republicans hate Trump with a passion, I'm surprised he has lasted as long as he has.

The Deep State has no Party, they are a force unto themselves. Trump is the best friend the working class / progressive left could ever have, because he's trying to seal with real issues like offshoring jobs, mass illegal immigration (which depresses wages), infrastructure projects (about 4.5 Trillion worth of repairs and improvements are unfunded).

Bringing back manufacturing which creates Jobs, and enhances national security. Trump, for all his flaws spoke about this all throughout his campaign, NO ONE ELSE DID. We just heard platitudes and demonization of those who heard Trumps message.

Bannon tweeted yesterday that the Presidency that Trump promised is over, in fact, it was over when Trump fired Flynn.
