How do we deal with it? Easy, stop letting the media decide what is and is not racist. Identity politics has divided Americans and Americans soak it all in from all of the MSM like a sponge. Meanwhile, MSM CEOs are laying back in their chairs getting richer from higher ratings and laughing their asses off. All in all, Americans are f**king stupid.

A good starting point is for folks stop using the terms political correctness when addressing social-political-cultural issues in our society. Denial through tribalism in our society is encouraging division. If White supremacy groups didn't show up to a rally to defend a statue that's argued represents the history of the Confederacy we would be having a different discussion.

Cpl Benjamin Long - You're doing your best to defend extremist groups on the left (Anti-Fa) and on the right (Alt-Right) to be armed. The whole principle of freedom to assemble is as long as it's not to instigate or incite. Armed protests are indeed instigating, inciting, and challenging others to a confrontation. I'm not backwards, those that show up armed are cowards and not there to promote anything but confrontation.
It the 50s are indeed gone, why is our government and activist groups still promoting '50s ideology like coal, White power, where women and minorities role in society are...etc. I'll accept your logic and encourage minorities to arm themselves, we never know when we'll run into an armed racist in this country.
