I am excited to participate as a panelist providing input based on my study on "The Transitional Experiences of Women Veterans". Many women on Rally Point participated in this study and have supported my efforts to explore our unique sociocultural experiences as we morph from warrior to veteran. Thanks to 358 women veterans from every service from around our nation I have some great information that will inform policy makers, nonprofits, and women planning to transition. I find it helpful to know, I am not alone in my struggle to adapt.

Col Rebecca Lorraine, you may want to check out AcademyWomen http://www.academywomen.org and http://www.ementorprogram.org - they have a large and growing network of women (and men) veterans, military members to include military spouses that can be a great resource for the efforts of women transitioning back to civilian life.
