I live in Canada and I read an interesting article in the paper about the soldiers who earned the Victoria Cross at Vimy Ridge which was a big battle in 1917 that had the Canadians actually capture The High Ground from the Germans. The Victoria Cross is the British and Canadian equivalent of the Medal of Honor. We hear a lot of stories about American Medal of Honor winners, but this is big battle is not known by many in the USA.

Love the VC LTC (Join to see) unlike our Medal of Honor, this can be bought and sold unfortunately at extremely high prices. I do feel we should be able to buy the Medal of Honor just as they do the VC. We preserve history but our medals are going to Europe, Canada and Australia. Its a shame.
