Wyman Casts Tiebreaking Vote To Approve Union Concessions Deal

Constitution state is the title our Governor (20% approval) spent 20 million to title Connecticut. It's hard to witness the past 30 years. At one time Connecticut had no income tax, no casinos, and lottery. We had a great quality of life and the opportunity to pursue happiness. Cost of living was affordable and we were at the top in education and quality of life.

Fast forward three decades. Our capital city has a junk rating for debt. Our state has the worst funded pension plan in America and we pay about 12 cents on every dollar for debt service. We have a multi billion dollar budget deficit. Our state has one of the worst bond ratings and we just had the two largest tax increases in our history. Now the future plan raises taxes on the 130 communities to provide more funding for cities like Hartford with the junk rating. The lady who passed the deciding vote to screw the taxpayer actually was the critical vote in 91 for the income tax. Still constitutional?
