"Orange Diva"?? Hope you are not an active 1SG, because that sure as little green apples is "contemptuous language" against a sitting POTUS.

I retire more that two decades ago

People who spend time here can tell you Orange Diva is me m being unusably polite to the the Orange Diva. I have great Contempt for the man and have had that contempt ever since the days of the Central Park Five. Nothing he has done since has done more than reinforce that contempt.

I'm talking about the supposed "honor" of an enlisted soldier, retired or otherwise. If your speech on here reflects what you were as a soldier - enough said.

I think it was pointed out to you by another poster that there is a tradition, spelled out in UCMJ, to treat the President with respect, regardless of your views. I'm not one to invoke the articles within the UCMJ, but I will call one out for neglecting to set an example as a former SNCO and/or a 1stSgt. Especially when that example is defended by another serviceman or woman as I observed in this thread.

As has been pointed our here many times the UCMJ has no bearing on the behavior or RETIRED enlisted people, with very few exceptions. The UCMJ is as relevant to my speech as a Albanian laws are. I am a Citizen of the US with no more restrictions on my speech than any other citizen and just as I have no UCMJ based restrictions on my speech there are no officers appointed over me anymore and that includes the POTUS.

I will give you a hint YOU have the right to free speech also even if though you obviously do not realize it.

Once again, you miss the point as you hid behind the mantle of "I'm retired" or "I have freedom of speech". I'm talking about someone who should be setting an example, especially as a retired SNCO and a former 1st Sgt. This is not an attempt to deny you of your free speech or some invocation of the UCMJ, it is me pointing out what I consider unprofessional behavior in a professional military social network.

I've made my point as an example to other who might be inclined to follow your example. If you want to be identified as someone who demonstrates unprofessional behavior, that's on you.

Maj Kevin "Mac" McLaughlin - I am setting an example, I am fighting against the jackass in the oval office to defend my country from him and his ilk. That is my responsibility as a citizen. There is nothing in my status as a retired military that requires me to accept vile behavior or refrain from being honest.

I am not hiding behind "I'm Retired" but that is a fact that makes your point irrelevant,
