I stopped reading after the allegation on the Military Justice System... the Military Justice System has not failed us, poor leadership manipulation of the system has failed us.

So true. It always comes down to how the people use the power vested in them... Seem to remember that was a recurring theme in comic books as a kid....

This is abominable if true. I tend to be suspicious of criticism of the Military Justice System when they originate from outside the military community. We heard a lot of that during the Vietnam War and Melvin Beli toured various commands. His judgment was that the system was fair. However, the cases cited in this article give me pause. I hope that the powers that be investigate these claims thoroughly and fix the system if it is broken. We already have too many matters infringing on morale

I can only suspect if this is true, the system runs with the approval of the politicians who believe they can govern every aspect of our lives and they have become corrupted by ideological bias.

One thing that I didn't like while I served as a Molitary policeman was the "make an example of" system.
While stationed at Ft. Leavenworth we were ordered to "watch out for the officers careers" while we were expected to "make an example of" the enlisted personal.
A young officer makes a mistake and it's a learning tool. A young lower enlisted makes a mistake and it could be career ending.
Maybe I just don't get it. There's no difference between the careers. The officers and enlisted depend on each other to accomplish the mission. So either watch out for everyone's career or set an example for everyone.
