Not sure that politically he has any choice if he wants to keep what little credibility he has left.

What makes me sad is that I have to wonder if these sanctions are an appropriate response to Russian misadventures or if President Trump is forced to sign them just to prove the fallacy of the claims that he and the Russians colluded in some way.
