Nice read. I wonder how it turned out. The temperature is like 876* I would like to think they have a orbital platform and rover designed for Venus already close to being completed, or in the works.

Nice post, Erin. It is nice to have confirmation that studies are done on the impact of such harsh environments on materials that might be sent to our sister planets. I would hate to have multi hundreds of millions (or more) of dollars worth of equipment prove to be useless because it couldn't withstand the harsh conditions once it got there. Wouldn't be the first time there was a massive OOOPS, because of a simple oversight.
