That's pretty cruel SSG Robert Webster did you know that Patricia has a combat infantry badge?

Whether or not you feel comfortable with her medical situation does not detract from her bravery or service.

I encourage you to watch her latest interview from democracy Now on NPR.

SSG Diane R. - Why is it cruel?
And yes, I know that SSG King has the CIB. I also know that SSG was/is a Paratrooper. In this regard it has no bearing on her 'medical situation' at all, nor does it or should it detract from her bravery or service.
For the most part since I have had several conversations with SSG King and know and understand her feelings and spoken thoughts on the subject matter, why should I get another rehash on the new interview, especially since I have followed her for some period of time. Come to think about it, I have probably followed and had conversations with her since she has come out publicly about her stance and situation.

It is really meaningless. People are discharged for all kinds of reasons every single day. First, no one has been discharged yet and second, if they are they will be no different that many others that have been separated from the service for a host of reasons. This issue only gets attention because of the LGBT movement and the fact that this is a cause celeb.
