Well there is this one
http://www.fox23.com/news/trending-now/teen-allegedly-harassed-by-police-for-mowing-lawns-in-affluent-neighborhood/572401721
What I see watching and reading all of this is a cop with the in-ability to add 2 and 2 and come up with 4. Handing out business cards, Pushing lawnmowers and running weed eaters.... ya Must be criminals right... After he was proven wrong what his response? Like all small minded people with authority keep pushing the issue. I have seen it in the Military I have seen it every day on the news, people refuse to admit when they are wrong. All this "cop" had to do was go "Oh your mowing lawns and drumming up business" maybe even take a card. Common sense is lacking with a majority of the population.
I bet I know how this will play out though, the cop will say at some future press meeting that he had received reports of suspicious people, or a disturbance, or a B and E reported, none will be substituted. His department will back him up and it will be swept under the rug.
Could have been a great PR opportunity. Cop: "hay what are you doing? oh your a lawn care company cool, nice work let me get a card let the guys know down at the station know your around, you the owner? Hay that's great, well I'm Officer so and so here is my card let me know if you see anything strange and stay safe. you have a great day"

You're missing the point, J. One half of the point is "Fake News." Anything can be staged to inflame some issue. And the Police have been at the top of most social websites for years. Secondly, were you there? The answer is no. You have no idea what actually transpired, only what is shown on a video taken by whom, for what purpose, to prove or assert blame on whom. I cannot count the number of times (probably thousands) I was involved in a verbal or physical altercation that could have been video-taped at any of a number of moments that, BY ITSELF, could have shown me and other officers in a bad light. But the allegation it inferred would not have been true.

The video is a limited perception of the entire encounter. From the video, I'd say both need to work on their people skills.

If he is a Police Officer, is he state certified? Definately doesn't need a gun and badge
