I lived in California for 15 years. They have a 'good cause' requirement and deny everyone. Except in Orange county if you contribute enough to the Sheriff's campaign. The law was not struck down by the 9th circuit (I believe), but the application of that law. Yet they still deny all. I moved to Georgia and now my CCW is honored in all but 15 states. The "equal protection" clause was good enough for the Supreme court to legislate gay marriage in all 50 states, why isn't it used to legalize the 2nd amendment in all 50 states.
Heller v. DC was the final blow in DC's ban on all weapons in the home which required all weapons to be disabled at all times in the home, even if you had an intruder. DC lost ever step of the way but still fought it til the end. Heller v. DC was used as precedence for the 7th circuit to strike down Illinois' ban on CCW.
What we need is a national right to carry law which would negate any state carry laws that are more restrictive.

You need to get up to Northeastern CA where the smart folks live (north of Sacto & east of I-5)

Outside the SF Bay area and LA, the state is conservative. When i moved to Georgia, i swapped my bullet button for a normal magazine release and no one got hurt.

Good! I don't know how ANY state can legally restrict a RIGHT enumerated in the Bill of Rights. This is a great success for Liberty!
