If (and this is still an if) this is true there should be people in leadership at the MPD that should lose their jobs as well. If he was a loose cannon that was put on the force so they could say hey, look we have a Somali officer knowing full well he had some real cultural issues and did not respect women or minorities etc there should be a lot of people in hot water.

Unfortunately, in 21st century America, this is highly probable. I have no issue with a person of Somali origins being a cop but he has to embrace community standards and the law.

I completely agree with you, if he wanted to assimilate, no problem- if the higher echelon was just looking to fill a "H.R. quota" by having him on the force- they have to be held accountable. I dont believe that his true colors just appeared overnight, since a civilian noticed his inter- actions with people. Either way, an innocent woman is dead and he needs to go to prison

I don't see his career going much further beyond this point and If the story is verified.......I see jail time as long as justice is served...

How has he gotten away with it? He hasn't even been charged yet.

I don't understand why he won't talk to investigators? He's going to have to give his statement eventually. His partner already told what happened. Smh.
