First bicycle tax in nation leaves bike-crazy Oregon riders deflated

It makes liberal/social justice sense to me. The tax is to punish you for "selfishly" owning your own bicycle. They want you to use one of the ugly orange (but politically correct) bike share bikes! You may look like a dweeb...and the seat doesn't fit your seat...but you're saving the whole planet!

Same state that has decided it owns ALL of the rain and snow melt and put a guy in jail for collecting it. Wont be long before they tax the air you breath. Truth is the Government can only give people what it has taken from others, and with the larger handouts to the junkies, homeless, grifters, drifters and welfare lovers they are cash strapped. I have several friends in the Portland area and all of them are trying to leave Oregon due to the rapid uptick in Housing cost, taxation, Drug trafficking, Crime, and governing insanity.
