Is anyone surprised? We've been trying our damnedest to make enemies of Russia. Well, now we've got them. I have no special knowledge but I suspect that the Obama Administration pushed this narrative to distract from their failure to contain terrorism, and the media is now pushing the narrative while President Obama leads the #Resistance to bring down President Trump before he can make good on his promise to undo the damage of the past eight years.

Yep. I have a picture somewhere of a Bear Bomber overflying my ship, escorted by 2 Tomcats.

Test of will power. Time to ramp up foreign policy, the industrial complex. However, our secrets and technology need to be maintained. The Russians are nowhere near the power the Soviets were and we out spent them.
Presently, they are trying to weaken us by defeating democracy by subverting the democratic process. If they can isolate the NATO countries one by one, then cast the seed of doubt the alliance will persevere, then they make progress. All the while flaunting arms sales, military intervention and in your face air to air aggressive maneuvers.
Now is not the time for isolationism or nationalism, while appealing to step back, save money, mind our own business. .....but who would be minding the shop? And in who's best interest?
