I had to post this if for nothing else to show the hutzpah by the Freedom Caucus. If Congress could be characterized by any two things it's dragging their feet on everything and taking vacations. If this one group thinks they can stop the entirety of Congress from doing this, then "bless their hearts."

While I'm generally against congress getting ANY recess other than normal federal holidays, I still consider the House Freedom Caucus as one of the biggest threats to the country today.

Why do you say that they are a threat to the country? That is a rather large accusation for any elected officials.

I say that because they have sabotaged the workings of our congress, which is an essential part of our government. Their hard-line "my way or the highway" approach, whether in the majority or the minority has resulting in a complete inability of anything to pass other than extreme right-wing austerity cuts to social services or unneeded tax cuts that gut out revenue stream. Worse, they shit down the government once already, and threaten to often, which is a danger to our national security.
