There has been a lot of talk in the news about North Korea and what our defense systems look like in the area. While THAAD 'Extended Range' would be the next phase of system development, you can get some great insights into what THAAD is currently capable of. This is a truly incredible piece of technology.

Years ago, I led the meteorological overwatch of the install of this in one of our Allied countries. Very cool system capability.
