I'm all for conking jackwads like this with wine bottles, but you'd think the flight attendants would know that there was no way that door was opening at that altitude.

SN Greg Wright The logical knowledge of the physics could very easily give way to the human need for self preservation. I agree, he deserved to get beaned in the nugget with the wine bottles. I really hope that they make an example out of him. 20 years and 250000 fine.

I have a very...let's say, harsh or stout, opinion on inflight jackassery.
I basically believe that all suspects of inflight or on aircraft disruption should be beaten into a grease spot on the floor by Air Marshals and that it be nationally televised as an example of what will happen.
And I have no complaints on TSA screening or being delayed at anytime in the travel process. In fact, there should be a deeper level of screening than there is in place. I have nothing to hide and welcome any inquiries that need to be made.
After all the safety being created is in the best interest of us all.
This may sound Orwellian to some, but my opinion is that it needs to be for both personal safety and national security.
