When the voters were broken down by party, just 39 percent of Democrats said they were proud of the United States." and "They weren’t just out there rioting and sitting in, they went into the professions – the teaching professions, and they’ve essentially taken over," Krauthammer said. "That generation of radicals runs the universities, they run the teachers’ unions, they run the curricula."
Last I checked, being an American meant that you could say you weren't proud of something because of the sacrifices made to ensure that you could AND notice how he pointed out how it's Democrats, not Republicans, Libertarians, Green Party, Independents etc, that weren't proud of the US. What good is doing and saying things like this? The only thing it's doing is pandering to their audience and driving that wedge deeper between Republicans and Democrats, making damn sure that each group will remain firmly entrenched in their ideological camps

SSG Michael Hartsfield - I agree with you. Up here in Canada the green party is the new Isis of environmentalism or the new Isis are Hezbollah. They won't compromise their almost like the Borg on Star Trek. They will not negotiate they'll just kill any project no matter how much CO2 you pump into the ground no matter what environmental mitigation programs or safety nets you put in place. We have a socialist Premier which is the governor and Alberta and she was voted in because people were pissed off at the Conservative Republican types and she's trying to negotiate with the green party and she's getting nowhere and look what's happening the green party may take over British Columbia to the west and stop Pipelines. No matter how much environmental safeguards are put in place. So in that sense I agree with you that the Democrats are getting the blame unfairly because other more extreme parties are causing problems and Democrats get blamed for it sometimes.
