No More Surprise Bills From Out-Of-Network Doctors In California

You know, this would be really nice in my state. I have to have knee braces just so that I can walk around with minimal pain, but when I tried to use my insurance to get them, they sat around debating it for 6 months and finally settled me with a bill that they didn't tell me about for a few YEARS. Its really aggravating, not because of the bill, but the place I got the braces from have a great product, they are just expensive. If my insurance would have just came out and told me "pay it yourself" that would have been the end of it, but this mystery bill sucks. I know that is not quite the same as what this goes over, but this is something that I would like to see happen in my state and really start helping people that need help.
