So we have Sen Chuck Grassley to thank for this misdirection. It's a good thing we have a Special Prosecutor/Investigator named Robert Mueller.

Grassley goes after acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe
Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) is going after acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe, raising questions about possible conflicts of interest in the FBI's investigation into former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.

I believe it is a Hatch Act violation. In reality, if they busted everyone in Congress, administration that violated it, there would be no one left. They know what the law is, but it hasn't been enforced in such a long time, that they ignore it. In long run, this is nothing. My 2 cents....

So a Federal employee who was supporting his wife as a husband during her political campaign is a crime? Was he wearing FBI labeled clothing? Wonder how he introduced himself to any potential donors? Was he participating at events as member of the FBI or as a husband? I'm confused as to how a spouse can support their spouse?
From OSC.gov:
"May not engage in political activity — i.e., activity directed at the success or failure of a political party, candidate for partisan political office, or partisan political group — while the employee is on duty, in any federal room or building, while wearing a uniform or official insignia, or using any federally owned or leased vehicle."

MAJ James Woods - That's why I think this is so stupid. He was wearing a political shirt (as I understand it) while at a fundraising event with his wife.
