What bothers me is that if Evangelicals, Wiccan, Mormon, Atheists, or other beliefs or religions raised a stink and wanted a resolution it couldn't be done because of the "separation of church and state". Muslim is a religion not a nationality. To promote one over any other is just wrong for the government to do...period. These are Syrian Americans, Somali Americans etc. Promote resolutions to accept nationalities if you want to (don't agree with that either because WE ARE ALL AMERICANS), but don't promote a religious affiliation and denounce the duly elected President of the United States!!! It is just wrong and no other way to put it.

the USA has been described as a melting pot of culture. Over the years it seems to have worked fairly well. I do find it disturbing when a group come here and fights (sometimes violently) for change as opposed to assimilation into the culture that they chose to join.
