Tonight while looking up recent Star Trek movies like Trek Beyond that came out last year, I came across the Star Trek Continues which is a remake of the original show with the replica of the bridge ,uniforms and musical score from the original 66 - 69 TV series. This is amazing! I believe the son of mr. Scott is playing mr. Scott in the series.

Hahahahaha! The set was classic, but those actors! It seems like they were chosen solely for looking roughly -- and I mean ROUGHLY -- like the original actors (except for Spock and Sulu, who seem to be parodies of the originals). They would have been better off creating new characters, and maybe keeping a couple of the old ones.

Oh no, I'm sure it wasn't a parody. But anyone who grew up watching Star Trek will have etched in their minds the images of William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy as Kirk and Spock (etc. for the rest of the cast). I'm sorry, but the recreation Spock is just hilarious to me.
