These seems to be a common misconception that everyone should wear their emotions on their sleeves. Not everyone is wired the same. We have our own ways to deal with issues, some re better than others, true. But not everyone need to be outwardly emotional either. Many of us just are wired that way. Instead, people need to understand we all have our own way of dealing with things.

I agree that grief is individual. The grief period can be shortened and the person's life returned to them sooner..
Check out what we are doing to stop the driving effects of grief whenever you wish. http://evolutionaryhealer.com/the-cr-process/

I don't think it's necessary for everyone to wear their emotions on their sleeves. Many people find some outward expressions of emotion uncomfortable.
But the whole point of this article is that by learning to sit in your emotions and really experience them without trying to distract yourself away from them, you can learn to tolerate a much wider range of emotions and retain control.

You know I can speak from the heart on this one I had to go through a year of counseling to correctly express my grief of those that I lost over there one thing I've noticed since then is that the same feelings that I had when I lost those over there so tragically are the feelings that I now feel whenever someone close to me here passes on. I want a more effective way to channel the grief or even get back to the naïve way that I processed it before I went over
