You can point out the facts all day long but the cult members are not to be saved via their own ignorance. They will simply parrot that the facts you presented were for the old Democrat Party before the "Great Switch". I think if you study this great transformation of American politics you will see a total of 4 elected politicians actually switched party affiliations. But, the facts are the facts and that is why you will see the cult members not attack it but rather the source as mentioned below. They will not acknowledge the past and defend their ideology but attack the authenticity of the source.

There is no doubt there was a time in history that it was true, mostly changed in the civil rights era of the 1960s. There is also no doubt that the Democratic Party is filled with self serving politicians who sometimes undercut their own message. I have never seen any political group that can live up to their own marketing over time.

There is also no doubt that the same can be said for the Republicans and that the racist groups in modern American politics generally identify with that party.
