I am no tan of Maher by any stretch of the imagination. I would love to see him and his show go away but I am not a fan of censorship and him losing his show over the "n" word. He has said far worse on far too many occasions. If his show goes away it should be because no one watches and it is cancelled accordingly. This attempt at silencing people over speech, even speech we do not like, is wrong.
Maher's audience loves his vulgar rants against anyone he does not like. Normally it is against a Republican or conservative so they cheer and holler etc. Did he stick his foot in mouth, yes he did but it is still a word and only a word. If his audience stays with him then you will know where the level of acceptance is for that sort of banter but let's make no mistake. That word is slung around in some quarters without any thought whatsoever.

Huh, the same guy that refused to cancel with Kathy Griffin after her political stunt. You have to wonder........politically inspired morals?
