I was pleased to learn that Russia has launched cruise missiles against ISIS positions in Syria today in support of Syrian troops. There are a number of areas where Russia nd the USA agree - including the fight against radical Islam

Russia fired four cruise missiles at Islamic State (ISIS) positions in Syria today in support of Syrian troops fighting the terror group. A frigate and a submarine in the Mediterranean Sea launched the missiles toward the area surrounding Palmyra, where the Syrian government is fighting to cut off ISIS from the border with Iraq. In recent weeks, the military has reclaimed a swath of territory from ISIS and U.S.-backed rebels. Russia, a staunch ally of Syrian President Bashar Assad, has been providing air cover for the fight against ISIS and other insurgents since 2015."

ISIS should never have been allowed to exist. They could have been wiped out years but the Obama administration failed to act.

Outstanding !! To work together with a basic foe to stomp out ISIS is surely an Art of the Deal. Congrats !! In fact most everyone agrees that the Russians are ruthless in battle and I would devise a plan where the US Troops go in and remove ISIS from a town or city. Keeping as many as possible innocent safe. Therefore pushing ISIS out miles away to the fields or woods where Russian Troops are waiting to greet them. With the lack of laws and UN Counsel the Russians would impale ISIS members on poles and plant them along the roads if they thought it would help. We could never conduct such acts. Any or all of this plan if carried out by the US and Russia would not only devastate ISIS it would put the fear of (what ever the name is) into them..... Upon reflection I believe I did get a little carried away with the whole destroy ISIS thing. But it was a great dream.

Good news, however, brings closer the day Russian and US Troops will be facing each other.
