I know I'm a little militant on some things but I'm still trying to understand how we kill animals that attack people so why are we not killing these animals too?

I can not fathom the depraved mind that would do this, and I will never understand why we let them live.

I think you're spot on CPO (Join to see). While not a psychiatrist I don't think a child molester can ever truly be cured. The only sure way to protect our children is to kill the predators.

I posted the late story up above. We "let them live" because most child molestation involves circle of trust. Those who harm are children are often not faceless predatory strangers. They often are close friends, family members or authority figures (i.e. school coaches, clergy, etc.). If we want justice, we must go after those who we already have a relationship with.

Problem is that some child molesters are ministers of God...

If that was my child he'd be dead and I'd be sitting in a cell awaiting trial. People who hurt kids like that need to be shot! We should include child predators in the death penalty crime list!
