What's so funny about this is in twenty years no one is even going to bat an eye at this and wonder why it was such a big deal in the past. I'm sure they will do well and hope they work their way to Ranger school in time.

Well at least some of the information provided was better. "Alpha Company started the training cycle February 10 with 149 males and 32 female recruits."
At least in the film the Drill Sergeant placed the Infantry Cord on the soldier properly. How SSG Howe could have screwed it up and embarrass himself and the soldier in the way that he did, I will never know.
