All the incidents in the Article happened when Obama was President and now "TRUMP HAS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!!!". Really? Hey what ever happened to assailing the last President who liked to pal around with former domestic terrorists and sit and watch baseball games with sponsors of terrorism?
Also, disagree with the author. Priority is properly placed here already. Islamic State is a far greater threat than right wing militants many of whom are incredibly stupid compared to IS. I've seen it down here in Texas and local Law Enforcement has them under supervision and knows who most of the members are. Not the same story for IS.

I have met a few ultra right "patriots", and they are pretty far out there. But most of them just want to be left the hell alone. In contrast, Antifa and BLM and other leftists have used violence in fascist in-your-face attempts to change policy or simply rebel against it.

This is always the case with stories like this. They have to tie in the Oklahoma City bombing to generate a death count then tie it in with the Branch Davidian's to make it look more sinister. These are pretty isolated incidents and there are few of these people and they are not often violent. But nice narrative. Most of these people do not seem to belong to a well organized group. McVeigh and Nichols acted mostly independently. The Davidian's were a religious cult isolated on a compound in Waco, Texas.
I have little use for these movements, most are crackpots that have an ax to grind for usually dubious reasons. Keep in mind, these are US citizens and they have the right to disagree and protest their government and if you want to get technical, the Declaration of Independence outlines they may need to over throw it should it become destructive to the rights of the people.

Until they have critical mass of numbers they are mostly isolated crackpots who law enforcement is pretty familiar with locally. This is another attempt to deflect from the threat of organized global terrorists that hold real estate, kill tens of thousands, rape, murder and pillage anywhere they go, oppress women and religious minorities (and kill them) to mostly benign US Citizens that may have criminals among them.

Cpl Jeff N. The Branch Davidians weren't even right wing extremists. Just a different communal religion trying to eke out a living legally buying and selling firearms, when they were attacked by federal law enforcement on charges that have, to this day, not been proven. Tim McVeigh was a scumbag but many of us share his anger over our federal government murdering the Branch Davidians. It was a extremely low point for ATF, FBI, and Delta Force.

Domestic terrorism is a very serious issue, that many average Americans don't pay attention to. The media portrays ISIL, Al-Qaeda, Taliban, and any foreign rebel group as the primary threats. I agree to disagree, when Americans start rising up against American policies and customs and threaten to do harm in some shape, fashion or form, that's a major league problem to me. Granted any and all terrorism needs to be acknowledged and handled accordingly but we cannot just ignore this truth. Not every American supports American government policies. That's different from the normal bias to a certain party or politician. There's people that hate the direction this country is going and want to rebel against it. The damage that does is far more greater than a foreign born terrorist, in my opinion. Great article though!
