Russians are not our worst enemy anymore. Growing up in the 80s, the stop of Communism and the Russians were our biggest threat. If you did not hate the Russians, you were not patriotic. This is not the 80s anymore and Red Dawn is a 31yo movie... Radical Islam has the same beefs with Russia, if not more because of Chechnya, and working with them on this and N. Korea is not a bad idea. People need to move forward to 2017.

The story has already been refuted as completely false. In fact when the story first broke, responsible news organizations were correctly pointing out that such an outlandish claim in a news report when it depends on a "unnamed and anonymous source" has almost always proven to be false in the past and traced back to someone with an agenda. I think it is hilarious that the DNC commented on the story and 2 Democratic Senators did as well. It goes to show you how NOT serious they are about our National Security and how quick they are to shoot from the hip.
Even if it were true, the President is at a level where he is allowed to declassify information or decide what information to release. A Secretary of State on the other hand is not in that position.

I grew up hating the Russians. Then I actually met some Russians and discovered they aren't evil, and it turned my Russian-hating world upside-down.
