MRU Trump hat: What do students really think?

We recently had a video on RP about some woman sounding like the Bride of Frankenstein seeing a Donald Trump poster. Want a safe space? Stay sober. Don't smoke pot, drink or do drugs before class. Socrates, Plato and Aristotle could not come on campus(especially if the weirdo anarchists from the last occupy Wallstreet cohort come on campus like World War Z to protest and burns stuff) because people will be against their philosophies.
Freedom of ideas means that uncomfortable subjects or opinions can be expressed. That is what a campus is for to exchange ideas! By the way...this video was from Calgary, Alberta Canada in 2016. These college students are Canadian. Real stupid to get mad over this, eh? This video was from before President Donald Trump won.

PO3 John Wagner thank you for giving me constructive criticism. By the way, did this posting just come up automatically? It's been a while since I posted it. But there have been incidents in other locations not just Canada or people wear this make America great again hat and they just go bananas! This video was from before President Trump won.

Well, let's just say I see you cut from the same cloth as me. No prejudice.... nor ever was any... that can leave a man open to unintended slights such as perceived here.
Neither you nor I saw the cartoon as being about blacks. At least I didn't.
I saw it as a generational deal.
Until the major pointed it out I hadn't even considered the race of the characters.
That's all I am saying.

LTC (Join to see) - I suppose. Unfortunately Steve, I am not convinced that it's truly satire. As I was saying. I work in the oilfield. I make more money each working day than I took home in a month for 27 years. Certainly there are those who work as little as possible. They are paid $23/hour. (Millennials perhaps?).

I laugh at these kids that call themselves AntiFa. They are supposed to be anti-fascists. Now, I am a relatively smart guy (Academy grad, Master's Degree in Political Science) but when i look at pictures of the Brownshirts on Kristallnacht (absolute Fascists) they look exactly like these guys.

Unfortunately, when young people get outside their homes for the 1st time and are looking for an identity, they are surrounded by this stuff. It is easier for them to join in to fit in.

Hopefully, at some point they will get the knowledge and common sense to make their own decisions based on facts...

SSG Edward Tilton, no - both the during and after pictures of both the Tea Party and Occupy rallies are shown above. There have been many similar comparisons done about rallies by the left and right and they all show the same thing - the left destroys the venue and the right picks up after themselves. This is due to disorderly vs orderly minds of the two groups, IMHO.
