It must be George Bush's (either one) fault.

For all the Lefties out there: ObamaCare is so good that insurers are pulling out of exchanges because they can no longer absorb the losses of being in the program. Chew on that.

There is no doubt in my mind that the Dems are better strategists than the Republicans. If the new plan gets reconciled by Congress and doesn't stop the bleeding immediately, the Dems will blame the Rs. If the Rs don't get it done, blame the Rs for letting ACA fail. Same strategy as with government shutdowns. WTF can't we get someone in the Republican leadership smart enough to turn the tables.

MSgt C Madd - I'm shocked to hear a veteran say that about pre-existing conditions. Veterans that are not eligible for healthcare from the VA may not be able to get healthcare or if they do, they will be paying high premiums because of their pre-existing conditions.

It's a business, not a charity. You can't force a private business to do something. That would be like making a citizen purchase something or fine them. Oh wait. Compare it to having a car wreck with no insurance, then forcing insurance companies to give you insurance. Doesn't make sense.

SPC Jeff Daley, PhD - The real reason is Senator Marco Rubio. Here's how I see the healthcare situation. Ten years ago, your wife wanted a BMW 7 series (the heritage foundations healthcare plan). She loved the car. One of her friends got one and she loved it too (Romneycare). You decide to surprise your spouse by buying the car used 10 years later (ACA). Your spouse does not like the car. Instead of doing things like changing the color of the car or getting a better stereo system or fixing the AC, your spouse drains the oil, puts sugar in the gas tank and drives nails into the tires. When the car breaks down, your spouse says "See I told you, this is the worst car ever made" (Republicans).

How about current administration? Like them or not, insurance companies are in business to make a profit and insurance underwriters like stability. With the current turmoil regarding healthcare system insurance companies aren't assured of either. We may get promised government payments or we may have a whole new program that needs coverage. Not exactly the environment insurance companies like to be involved with. Since Congress seems incapable of passing anything to do with healthcare, not surprised if even more bail, but that's not a problem created by Obamacare/ACA, it's the climate created by the current Congress.

SPC Jeff Daley, PhD - Funny that myth about overspending or overpaying in the government because its the taxpayers money. Know I'd get my butt handed to me if I went over budget on anything while I was in the military, and I controlled some "significant " budgets.
