Hi .Chip, according to most sources, Obama family travel, vacations, cross $85 million and may be as high as $100 million. I do not deny a President the right to take the time to relax. The amount they spend should probably be limited, but at a pittance of $400,000 per year as the CEO of the United States, I will cut them some slack until Congress finally caps how much they can spend.

Additionally, I do not believe we should pay for a sitting President to spend large amounts of money on campaigning for party candidates. The President should be the President of the American people not of a particular party. Of course, this will not happen because of the huge divide that now exists; especially between party affiliates.
