Cyber Warfare: Could It Be in Our Future?

I spent the better part of my 20 years in the Air Force in cyber warfare. Today it has been formally operationalized and at this exact moment we are executing actual missions throughout the services. Over the last few weeks, the AF employed the first ever use of one of our newest weapon systems for defensive operations. Lots of stuff going on and I'm excited to be a part of it. Prior to this, we were essentially the Billy Mitchelles of the cyber domain, trying to prove it's capability and the threat it can present. Today we are pushing out the lastest Cyber Protection Teams, which each of the services are providing.

The Army is building up their CPTs and as more soldiers finish their training, we will see the efforts to shore up US defensive and offensive measures as necessary to meet the ever evolving and emerging threats against US infrastructure and cyber systems.

I fear it is already being Waged on a Low scale attack already...
