Will Mexico Get Half of Its Territory Back?

I'm almost prepared to have California ceded back to Mexico and good riddance. Sadly that would mean that the US would have an even longer border to protect. After the Mexicans turned CA into as bad a mess as the rest of their nation, you can bet they would be climbing the walls into OR, NV, et al. Oh, and if they take CA, they have to keep Gov Moonbeam and all the other Leftists

So, the issue is territory. If they just had more of the USA, they would stop immigrating to our country, legally and illegally by the millions. Right.

Let's see - Erasmo Seguin might see it very differently. Mr. Krauze should also reference what was called the "Republican Army of the North" and the first declaration of the Independent Republic of Texas in 1813.
Or he could talk about the failure of abiding by it's own laws, specifically the "Colonization Law of August 18, 1824," within Alta California, New Mexico and Texas; which led to the Texas Revolution.
Or he could talk about how Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna was a key figure in all of this and how he is the principal inhabitant of Mexico's pantheo of "those who failed the nation."
