Makes good sense, we (the military) issue weapons to young men and women, why couldn't they get a concealed carry permit. Thanks LTC (Join to see)

Totally agree. Now they just need to do something about the drinking age...we can send 18 year olds off to war, but they can't buy a beer when they get home.

LTC (Join to see) - Exactly, Colonel. It's the law in OK --- 18 to vote or carry a gun, but 21 to have a drink (legally, that is).
I have a nephew LEO, who at age 18, had the authority to enter a bar (with his sidearm, of course) and arrest someone, but could not be served a beer.
I don't see much consistency in such a combination of laws.

LTC (Join to see) - I had an 18 year old nephew who could carry a gun. He was an LEO, and could go into a bar with that gun, and arrest someone. But he could not return to that bar when off-duty and be served.

It seems that this would make common sense..... I am surprised that a politician, regardless of affiliation, would sign this with the common (mis)conception that veterans are PTSD time bombs waiting to go off. I'm glad someone has enough testicular fortitude to do this!!!
