PO1 Tony Holland That was an outstanding article. When total air domination is achieved, it allows ground forces to maneuver with impunity. I remember after aerial domination was achieved in 1991 watching as coalition armor raced across the desert in broad daylight leaving a cloud of dust in their wake. I was amazed that they would do that, but when friendly aircraft are the only planes overhead, it makes it that much easier.
