How Socialism Ruined My Country

CPT Jack Durish I love it when we hear stories about countries learning their lesson the hard way! I only hope that Venezuela revolts against their Communist leader. Sounds like Brazil at least kept their elections and were able to move on from Lula (although it took a successor to have the country fully wake up).
This is why everyone was so disgusted w/ the olympics - the economy of Lula's successor (I can't remember her name) was just horrible.
I remember in my macroecon class we had a kid who escaped from Cuba w/ his parents. When another student brought up how great Communism was, he literally had a conniption fit & we all just enjoyed listening to him go off on this herd mentality student about why their fantasized view of Communism/Socialism was so far removed from reality that they refuse to grasp what it really is.

I watched it, and it tries to make the case that the unusual is the norm, That guys country was ruined by a nutcase president. My the standards of the conservative on this board every democracy on the planet is a socialist nation and a hellhole, which would really surprise Isreal, Every member of NATO, and out neighbors to the north, who continue to voluntarily choose socialist governments and seem quite happy with them.

I normally do not read Prager simply because the man l get his facts wrong too often substituting opinion as fact when convenient. He is not Rush or Jones but about half-way between the WSJ m RCP and those nutbags.
