Good words from the Good Colonel. How many of us have been through this. I know I fought this demon while on the midnight shift:
"You want to control your weight? Then watch your sleep. Being sleep deprived can make you feel hungry. About 1 AM, when you ordinarily would be dead asleep, you get that incredible case of the "munchies"? That's the body saying, something's wrong, let's try food. It doesn't work. Now you are sleep deprived and overweight!"

CPT Jack Durish In police academy, they would have us run a lap around the building to wake us up on our midnight swing. Needless to say, there were many laps run around that building...lol.
