The Save Our Heroes team had a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) fulfilled this week which confirmed our organization’s belief the perceived sexual assault crisis within the military, has not only created an out of control ‘witch hunt’, but is a threat to National Security. Our FOIA revealed military leadership, at the highest levels, are more concerned about statistics, in an attempt to look good for Congress, than using intelligence. Save Our Heroes is shocked, but not surprised leadership would rather threaten their own service member’s liberties, than to stand up to misguided Congressional scrutiny. This corrupt military leadership has created an internal cancer which is a threat to National security. All it takes is an allegation against a service member, without any evidence, and a career is ended. Yes, this is a powerful statement, but Save Our Heroes can prove it and will stand up in a Court of Law to back up the claim.
In the next couple of months, the Save Our Heroes team will be making trips to Washington, DC to ask Congress to hold Congressional Hearings on the military judicial process. This is paramount for insuring an out of control military judicial system does not continue to erode national security. The good news is Save Our Heroes has support from Congressional leadership on both sides of the political spectrum, which has helped us identify the military’s perceived pressure is from an isolated location. It is because of this support, Save Our Heroes does not feel the same political pressure as the military, and we believe a majority of Congress understands the corrupt military judicial process and its unintended consequence of destroying national security. It is our hope military leadership will come to their senses and correct the system before too many more lives are destroyed.

MSgt Chloros.....I am back to your post and somewhat concerned as I cannot figure out the true objective what you are trying to prove....you state quite a few opinions without any facts that I can see to verify your assertions....there may be a "witch hunt," as you call it that may be a threat to National security but I would like to see you post more evidence for me to better make up my mind on your assertions...thank you for posting!....

Capt, my apologies for the late response. I myself was raped at age 17 prior to my military service. I was also a victim advocate from 2008-2012 before things enveloped into a complete witch hunt. I wanted to help people that had been through what I experienced, RAPE! Having experienced such, I find no solace in the fact that my fellow service members are being trampled on and stripped of their due process rights. This is about justice, nothing more nothing less and until we admit that the pendulum swung too far and our service members are being used as pawns in this political game of chess, I feel it is a National Security issue. It's not about "Believing", we need to provide support to both sides to the accused and the accuser, we need to realize that the accused could be the real victim. We need investigations to focus on fact finding and truth and not merely just trying to prove guilt. We need to stop posting every service member accused in the media to "show the politicians that we are tough on sexual assault and that every male is a sexual predator", this leads the public and potential jury to already "Believe" the accused is guilty of the crime. The alleged victims name is not being drug through the mud, they both deserve their day in court.
