Interesting read. My take on all the isms' both good and bad is that they always seem to fracture in the case of any type of positive movement into a game of "I'm more oppressed than you, so I matter more" and Labels are thrown too liberally with the hope that one will stick.
My advice for everyone is treat people nice and don't take shit from everyone.

1stSgt Eugene Harless - That sir is how we bridge gaps. You want your daughter and your son to have Equal opportunity. That is why I always say we are all more alike than we are different. Not asking for a hand up or out, but the opportunity to succeed at all levels.
