Should the Coastal Artillery Branch Branch be resurrected? A Vietnam Vet's Father who was a WW2 airborne Pioneer used to make fun of these guys because the enemy was anywhere near their gun batteries and so it was more like an office job. Close to home and never overseas. Hawaii and the Panama Canal were as far away from home as you can get . A real life of Riley.

thats a Great Idea... But that Used to be the Marines and the Navy's Job after the elimination of the Coastal artillery... sure eBring it back...

Doesn't the army already have too many missions and too few resources. I doubt the Navy is going to give up any ships to pay for this.
