On February 22, 1980, in the midst of the Cold War, a young inexperienced group of American hockey players took to the ice to face the Russians. The American team was supposed to taken to task. No one expected them to pull off what is now knows as "The Miracle on Ice".
Even though I wasn't around yet, I born 9 months later, watching that game and hearing the last minute of the radio play by play gives me chills. It often reminds that even if someone counts you out, you are not truly out until the buzzer rings.
Great Win... Fantastic Team... I was going thru the SF Q. Corse for the second Time... Remember it was the talk of the code room and in-between Classes...
